PLASMA PERMEATING - PROTOCOL

 

TREATMENT TIME:  5-60   minutes                   (depending   on area to be treated)

 

MINIMUM AGE: 16

 

PREPPING:

•  Client needs to prep-  min weeks on Vitamin A/C

•  Fitz 4-6 ( depends on how dark the skin is & if its pron to pigmentation} - needs to use a Tyrosinase inhibitor

 

INDICATIONS:

•  Rejuvenation

•  Fine lines/wrinkles

•  Premature ageing

•  Skin tightening

 

RECOMMENDED COURSE:

•   3-10 treatments performed at weekly intervals for face, and body on non-ablative only

 

PLASMA:

  • Plasma is a combination of solid, liquid and gas.
  • When these  3  elements  are  combined,  they  create  a  static  charge causing a spark that is visible to the human eye. 
  • There are two forms of plasma, non-ablative (does not resurface  the  skin)  and  ablative  which  removes  the epidermis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

•   Cosmeceutical retinol within the last 7 days (in the treatment area)

•   Topical  prescription  retinol  within  the  last  2 weeks (in the treatment area)

•   Implanted device/cardiac disorders

•   Anticoagulant medication

•   Metal pins/plates (in the treatment area)

•   Sunburn

•   Isotretinoin  within  the  last  6  months  (e.g.Roaccutane, Oratane)

•   Eczema or psoriasis (in the treatment area)

•   Depilatory cream within the last week (in the treatment area)

•   Laser or IPL hair reduction, waxing within the last 1-2 weeks (in the treatment area)

•   Pregnant,  breast-feeding,  IVF  treatment  or trying to conceive

•   Auto-immune disease

•   Blood clotting disorder

•   Diabetes

•   Inflamed rosacea or profuse redness

•   Fungal dermatitis

•   History of abnormal or keloid scarring

•   Active cold sore on the area to be treated

•   Chemical or radiation therapy

•   Sun exposure 2 weeks prior

•   Treatment of breast tissue

•   Anti-wrinkle treatment within the last 2 weeks

•   Dermal fillers within the last 4 weeks

•   Active acne

•   Haemophilia *avoid raised lesions
